Peter Steel dies at 48

Today Peter Steele, from the band Type-O Negative, passed away. Type-O is one of my favorite bands and I've listened to them many times when drawing. So even though he's not a Facebook friend, here's my caricature of the former lead singer. RIP

I'm trying to better my illustration skills through various exercises this year. One of the exercises is to draw one caricature per day of all my facebook friends. I'm really interested to see how I improve over the year and how my caricature style develops. I've already done 5 days worth which are below. Quality is bad on these first few due to having a broken scanner and using my iphone in it's absence. Hopefully I will get that fixed soon! New pic tomorrow...

Happy Easter! This was created in a group at my work called Craft Club. The project was to decorate an egg for Easter. It is made with a hollowed egg, pipe cleaners, felt, marker and accessories.

This is a Munny I customized for a contest. A lot of pre-work here. Using scuply I added the hair boots etc. And below is the final version. It's hard to see some of the detail in this picture. Her wrists, boots, and belt have little spikes.
